The Bob Marley Foundation Ltd. (BMF) will primarily provide assistance to other organizations that conduct programs aimed at relieving poverty and suffering of children and others. In some instances, however, the BMF will create and conduct programs. Such programs will be executed internationally with an emphasis on the Caribbean, Africa and the United States, for the benefit of indigent, disenfranchised and under represented individuals, institutions and communities; particularly infants, youths and the elderly, and may include:
1.¬†¬† ¬†Scholarships/fellowships for youth and other qualified individuals to attend academic and/or trade institutions in the Caribbean, Africa, United States of America or throughout the diaspora to further or complete degrees or training.
2.¬†¬† ¬†Continuing education classes, seminars, workshops, etc., presented by professionals in the arts, entertainment, music, and sports industries and geared toward¬†increasing opportunities and employment for beneficiaries.
3.¬†¬† ¬†Capital improvement drives for institutions to improve the safety and overall environment of their facilities to serve the needs of recipients.
4.¬†¬† ¬†Programmes, concerts, exhibitions and all forms of artistic performances to assist in disseminating the message of peace, justice, equality and human rights through music and art.
5.¬†¬† ¬†Tours and exhibitions promoting the appreciation of culture and diversity, utilizing the talents of local and international artisans and heightening the awareness of a myriad of human rights issues related to health, socieconomics, education and the eradication of poverty and injustice.
6.¬†¬†¬†¬†Counseling and mentoring resources to empower recipients and ensure sustainable economic, health and general welfare development.
7.¬†¬†¬†¬†Educational materials and other printed materials to educate recipients
8.¬†¬†¬†¬†Referrals to corresponding¬†or community partners for other services not offered by BMF
